What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for designers from all disciplines to team up with Baltimore City-based nonprofits to help tackle their biggest design challenges!
Think: logos, branding, website updates, signage, wayfinding, and other communications tools.
What to Expect:
Real-world practice, fast: you’ll build under time constraints, prioritize clearly, and complete work that can be used.
Nonprofit-centered design experience: learn how mission, audience, and limited resources shape strong design decisions.
Team collaboration and coaching: you’ll work in a supportive, collaborative environment and meet your team in advance.
Community and connection: join a room of 60+ creatives and 20+ nonprofits working toward Baltimore’s social change movement.
Diverse perspectives can solve big challenges.
Each design team is carefully assembled based on participants’ skills and preferences, and are composed of professionals and students from across the Baltimore-DC region.
Seasoned design coaches, experts, and Neighborhood Design Center facilitators are on hand to offer guidance.
Designers are sure to leave with newfound knowledge and connections to enhance their own work.
